My Baby is 5+1

Mom, Baby, and Ava doing their favorite thing-cuddling!
Lyn, celebrating her 60th birthday one day early.
Ava sitting on Aunt Cory's lap. My dad has Miss. Jayna.
My girl chose a chocolate birthday cake with a kitty on it. Ava's Grandma Lyn's birthday is the day after hers. We celebrated 6 and 60 on the same night. I made Lyn two iron skillet pineapple upside down cakes. New recipe of course. They turned out perfectly. Yay!

The only thing she wanted (besides a sleep number bed) was a DSI. She got a pink one!

Audrey and Sydney striking a pose with Baby and Lemon Louise.
My extremely happy six year old with her best buds- Remi and Tessa.
Denny, Eric, and Cory. One day post Mardi Gras followed by Ava and Lyn's birthdays. I think our family is officially ready for life to become a bit more boring.
Ava's birthday fell on Ash Wednesday this year. That doesn't mean a lot to us as we aren't Catholic, but it does signify the end of the Mardi Gras celebration. Whew! Another year under our belt.

We had a lovely mid week celebration in honor of our littlest girl. Ava had a very blessed day. One of the sweetest things about the day was her and Audrey's interactions-

Audrey woke me up and asked if we all could go into Ava's room and wake her up by singing Happy Birthday to her. While Ava was at school, Audrey blew up dozens of balloons and wrote sweet messages on each one. Ava told Audrey that if she got two DSIs for her birthday, she would give Audrey one. She also told Audrey that if she got a DSI, she would share it with her.

What a love fest! Not a bit of jealousy. Audrey was so excited to celebrate her sister's special day and make it as fun and memorable as possible. Complete success! Both girl's birthdays have already been thoroughly celebrated and now I can relax for the rest of the year. I'm so ready.
