June 6, 2007 Cardinals vs. Reds
I just had to write about the silliest baseball game I've ever been to. This was the second game I've gone to this season. Eric, his sis Cory, and her boyfriend Jason, and I all went together. Cory got us 12th row seats (behind 1st base) from McGurks Pub.
First, my silly dear husband played a little joke on me. While we were walking in we saw Fred Bird and Eric motioned for him to get me. Fred Bird attacked me from behind! He is an aggressive mascot!
Cory and Jason had to leave during the game to visit the smoking section. When they came back, Cory had her hand in an enormous red hulk like hand that had a hollowed out area in the fist for a beer. We forgot about the game for a while and took pictures of each other drinking beer from the giant red fist.
Like I said, it was just a really silly fun time. I've never laughed so much at a baseball game.
